Niagara Runner at the Niagara Falls International Marathon

Niagara Falls International Marathon second place award for the 30 to 34 males.

Sorry to not post yesterday (Oct. 20). I try to post every Tuesday and Saturday but was a little busy with Saturday morning class and preparing for the Niagara Falls International Marathon.

I’m not going to get into too much detail now: I’ll save that for my post on Tuesday because right now I am exhausted. I’m proud to say I set a new PB today, finishing the marathon in just over two hours and 58 minutes. I placed 17th overall and finished second in my age group. Check out the results here.

Best of all, I met the qualifying standard for Boston. Registration for the race next April is closed now, so I guess I’m looking at 2014. Who knows how fast I will be by then.

More to come on Tuesday. Can’t wait? Check out this story and photo from the Niagara Falls Review.

  1. Congratulations on your great race result! Enjoy some rest and I look forward to reading more about the race later on 🙂
